Hosted with Bluleaf – Awareness in Agriculture and introduced by Rita Milvia De Miccolis Angelini (ARPTRA) and Gianluca Chieppa, the event brought together a mix of projects and experts to share experiences and explore the next steps for digital agriculture in the Mediterranean region.
The roundtable on data, models, and indicators gathered perspectives from CAT-LAB, Iride, DigitalGrape, UNIVERSWATER, AGRARSENSE, WADIT and AgRibot, showing how collaboration between projects can strengthen the whole agritech community.
AgRibot in the Data Mix
Representing AgRibot, Professor Francesco Fabiano Montesano and Professor Anna Maria Stellacci from the University of Bari “Aldo Moro” joined the roundtable to present our project’s approach.
They shared AgRibot’s vision of safer, smarter farming and highlighted the ongoing work of our Italian partners: University of Bari, Polytechnic University of Bari, and CNR-STIIMA/ISPA.
The discussion sparked genuine interest. Consultants, researchers, and institutions recognized the potential of AgRibot not only to improve efficiency in the field but also to open new opportunities for working across projects.
We’re especially thankful to Francesco Fabiano Montesano and Anna Maria Stellacci for representing AgRibot in Bari and sharing our story with such dedication, and to the AgriDataKPI team for bringing so many voices together.
Conversations like these are a step in the right direction — towards a more digital, sustainable, and inclusive agriculture across Europe.
