Last week, the AgRibot consortium gathered at the beautiful KU Leuven campus for our first official project review meeting.
Besides the obvious nerves in the room, the meeting was a great opportunity to reflect on everything the consortium has been working on over the past 20 months and make room for discussions on where we go next.
As always, it was great to reconnect with partners in person, exchange ideas, and catch up after months of working together from across Europe.
Before heading home, set off to the orchards and visited pcfruit, one of Belgium’s leading fruit research centres. Known for testing new cultivation techniques, plant protection strategies, and precision agriculture technologies under real growing conditions. Here we had the chance to see AgRibot’s robotic harvester in action. We’ll be sharing more about the robotic harvesting system—and our visit to the orchard—very soon.
