Abstract: The AgRibot project aims to transform agriculture through the integration of robotics, extended reality (XR), and advanced digital technologies. Deliverable D1.1, titled “Comprehensive Needs & Requirements Report,” lays the groundwork by identifying and analyzing end-user needs through literature reviews, market assessments, and
stakeholder surveys. Led by the Agricultural University of Athens under Task 1.1 of Work Package 1, this report informs the technical design and strategic direction of the project. Its findings directly support the development of impact assessment tools (Task 1.2), guide the refinement of robotic systems (WP2), influence XR interface design and training (WP3), shape data and connectivity solutions (WP4), and inform pilot deployment plans (WP5). Moreover, its commercial analysis contributes to business strategy development in WP6, ensuring the AgRibot solution is both technically and commercially viable. As a foundational deliverable, D1.1 aligns user needs with technical development and market exploitation, ensuring coherence across the project’s lifecycle.
