IEEE MetroAgriFor 2026 – Special Session on Trustworthy Agricultural Robotics

AgRibot partner CNR-STIIMA is organizing Special Session #05: “Building Trustworthiness and Explainability in Robotics and Sensing for Agriculture 5.0” at the 2026 IEEE International Workshop on Metrology for Agriculture and Forestry (MetroAgriFor).

The Special Session focuses on one of the core challenges in next-generation agricultural robotics: ensuring that AI-driven robotic systems are transparent, interpretable, and trustworthy, especially in real-world environments where humans and robots work side by side. Topics include Explainable AI (XAI) for agricultural robotics, interpretable sensing and navigation, trustworthy human–robot collaboration, Edge-XAI, uncertainty quantification, and XR-enabled transparency.
